Golf Simulator Hire

Availabilty is strictly subject to advanced arrangement with Ross, between the hours of 10am and 10pm. We cannot guarantee that the faciltity will be available during your stay as it requires set up prior to use. You shold not book your holiday with us based on this facility and no compensation will be paid in the event that the simulator is not available during your stay.

The simulator uses a doppler radar system that can track your club swing and the ball. The results are incredibly accurate

You are welcome to bring your own clubs. We also have adult sets clubs you can borrow

The facility is for over 16 year olds, unless you have proof of handicap for younger players. Ultimately, this is not a toy. If we do allow children to play, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times - no exceptions!

Due to space constraints the system cannot be used by left handed golfers

Absolutely, the ceiling is 10’ high and so you have no chance of hitting it. So smash it and go for that 300 yrd drive.

The system uses special titlist pro v1 balls. We provide you with a ball to use. This must not be taken away.

There is plenty of room at the back of the room, along with 4 bar stools and a bar. Anyone not playing a shot must stay in this area for safety reasons

The enclosure is designed to take the impact of the ball and it wont rebound under normal use. If you hit a shot wildly off target, its possible that it will rebound, but we haven’t experienced anything remotely dangerous.

There are too many to mention, but many famous courses are available. If theres a specific course you would like to play, we can search for it.

The system can track putt’s, but we don’t recommend trying to play a game with putting enabled. It simply takes too long and wont improve your putting skills. Instead, auto putting is enabled, that will estimate the number of putts depending on how far from the hole you are.

The only exception is that sometimes it’s better to putt onto the green, rather than trying to do a short chip.

We will set you up and give you a run through of the system. There is an easy to use arcade style joystick and buttons to change direction on access common functions

There is a strict maximum of 4 people in the room. Anyone in the room will be classed as a player and the price will be charged accordingly.

A round will take longer than you expect. 2 reasonable golfers should be able to complete 18 holes in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. This can vary depending on ability and how much you chat between shots.
