Here's a list of the wonderful beaches within easy reach of the farm
Our closest beach, which is great for families and surfing, Crackington Haven also has 2 cafes and the Coombe Barton inn. All of which serve wonderful food and welcome dogs. The beach is dog friendly from October through to Easter.
All the ingredients for a perfect beach day. Boasting two sandy beaches, a fabulous outdoor sea pool, skatepark, numerous surf schools, a canal, golf course, beachfront cafes and all within a pebbles throw of the town centre.
Home to the Port William pub, which offers fantastic views from inside and the beer terrace. We love the cafe too. Whilst there's no beach at high tide, it offers a great sandy beach at low tide and some great waves for surfing and body boarding. Oh, and it's dog friendly all year round.
A pretty fishing village, best known for being the home of Doc Martin (Martin Clunes). We had the best fish and chips at the Mote pub, which is in an enviable position by the harbour. Nathan Outlaw also has a fish restaurant here. We recommend parking at the car par at the top of the hill, which has it's own stunning views, which allows you to avoid the narrow streets.
Off the beaten track, Bossiney Cove is a steepish walk down the cliff path, but well worth it when you get there. Crystal clear water and sand along with being sheltered makes it a great place for families. You will need to take your own refreshments and time you visit when the tide is out. It's also dog friendly all year round.
